3 Months = Fun!

Baby A is Mr. GIGGLES and SMILES these days and when he does try to be a serious baby I tickle and tease him till he starts giggling and smiling again.  It is so fun to play with I would spend all day playing with the little guy if I had the time.  Unfortunately as soon as Baby A sees the camera he generally stops smiling so he can study the camera.  I guess that means you will all have to come visit to see his cute little smile!

This picture reminds me of Matt.

His signature, "What is this shinny thing with a flashing light?" look for the camera.

Rockin' the Ute gear!

Yes I like taking pictures of my handsome little man!

I thought it would be fun to take pictures of Baby A and all his
stuffed animals.  Unfortunately it isn't a good idea to have the baby
wearing the exact same color as the blanket he is sitting on.

Baby A's Hospital Photo Shoot

Matt's sister Sandra visited us while we were in the hospital a couple of days after Baby A was born.  I think they are fantastic and wanted to share.

Thanks Sandra for the fantastic pictures to help commemorate the birth of the little guy!

2 Months and Christmas

Baby A's 2 month birthday didn't coincide with Christmas but I'm posting the pictures from both events in this post.  If some of the pictures look a little grainy/fuzzy it is because I  accidentally changed the mode on my camera and couldn't figure out why my pictures were turning out so grainy for over a week.

Isn't he adorable?! At his 2 month doctors appointment he weighed 12.5 pounds and measured 23.75 inches.  Most days he would rather lay on a blanket and kick and squirm around than be held.  He also likes to talk to himself or whoever will listen to him.  His favorite thing in the whole world is the mobile that hangs above his crib that spins and plays Brahm's Lullaby.  I'm a little jealous of the mobile -it gets the best smiles and giggles.

Did I mention I think he is adorable?

We spent Christmas Eve with the Hales in Hinckley. Santa stops by to visit every Christmas Eve at Matt's parents' house.  Baby A slept through the whole thing.  I'm sure he would have been impressed with Santa's white beard had he been awake.

After Santa visited we went to my parents to spend the night and Christmas Day.   My Mom of course had Christmas pajamas for all of us to wear that night.

My Mom also had "My First Christmas" hat and stocking for Baby A.  The hat was a little small, but I think Baby A still rocked it.

Baby A wasn't as excited about his presents as we were.  He was more impressed with the sparkles on my parents cottage cheese ceiling -at least someone likes the cottage cheese ceilings :)

I decided we all needed flanel shirts to wear on Christmas.
Baby A decided photo time should be over before we took any pictures in front of the Christmas tree.

One Month (Plus Some)!

This post is of course in my usual fashion a little late -but the pictures are from Baby A's actual 1 month birthday.  A friend gave me the cutest stickers to help document his growth over the months of his first year.

Baby A in his signature pose -not sure why but he loves to
put his left hand by his face and his right sticking out like that.

The poor little guy has had bad case of baby acne the last week or so.

Love this little guy SO MUCH!

What can I say he is our little angel.

Baby A is spending a lot more time awaking allowing us to get to know how cute and fun he is.  I try to lay him down to let him play while I get things done around the house, but generally I end up sitting  down and playing with him.  He is starting to make all kinds of cute noises and wiggles all over.  He loves to look at cinder block walls and lights and swing really high in his swing.  Baby A has stopped trying to scratch himself so much making it possible to not have his hands covered all the time (hurray!) He has also grown out of most of his newborn clothes which making me a little sad.

Happy Halloween

Courtesy of Baby A's Aunt Carmen, he was a candy corn for Halloween

Proud parents of the CUTEST CANDY CORN...

The Saturday before Halloween we dressed Baby A up in his Halloween costume and took him to visit Matt's Grandma B and his Aunt LaWane and Uncle John.
